ART 310: Art Education For Elementary Programs
As a requirement for elementary pre-service teachers, this course focuses on the visual arts content and process, materials and methods, and functions of art in the elementary curriculum. A range of topics including the following will be addressed: artistic development of children, visual arts integration with various elementary subjects, instructional adaptation for students with wide range of abilities levels, assessing and organizing art materials, and looking and talking about art with children of all ages.
