The Summer Camp for Academically Talented Students (SCATS) is a program for gifted students who have completed sixth, seventh, or eighth grade. The SCATS classes open new doors of learning for gifted young people and provide a comfortable social atmosphere where they can be who they truly are. Each summer, several visual arts enrichment classes are offered for the SCATS participants and these classes are instructed by the WKU artpre-service teachers
